    Heritage Buildings

      Heritage brickwork restoration is the careful repair, conservation, and preservation of historic brick buildings to maintain their original character, materials, and structural integrity.

    It’s commonly done on older or protected structures such as heritage homes, churches, civic buildings, and landmarks.

    Brick Replacement

     What it is: Removing damaged bricks and inserting new matching ones.
    Used for: Spalled, cracked, or severely weathered bricks.
    Important: Matching size, color, and porosity is crucial—especially on older or listed buildings. 

    Crack Stitching

      What it is: Inserting stainless steel helical bars into mortar joints across cracks, then grouting them in.
    Used for: Structural or settlement cracks in masonry.
    Benefit: Reinforces the wall without rebuilding large sections. 

    Brick Tinting / Cosmetic Repairs

     

    What it is: Applying mineral-based stains to blend replacement bricks with existing masonry.
    Used for: Color mismatches after repairs or extensions.

    Patching / Patch Pointing

     

     What it is: Repairing small areas with mortar or brick repair compounds.
    Used for: Minor surface damage or chips. 

    Structrual Rebuilding

     What it is: Taking down and rebuilding a damaged section of wall.
    Used for: Bulging walls, severe movement, or collapse.
    Often needed after: Subsidence, impact damage, or long-term water ingress. 

    Lintel Installs / Replacements

      What it is: Repairing or replacing steel or concrete supports above doors and windows.
    Used for: Cracking above openings due to failed or corroded lintels. 

    Cleaning / Restoration

     

    Methods include:

    • DOFF or TORC systems (low-pressure specialist cleaning)
       

    Used to remove staining, moss, pollution damage, or paint.
